LSE Prof. Mary Kaldor to be awarded Honorary Doctorate from Corvinus University of Budapest
ISES students are headed to Budapest today to attend a ceremony where an honorary doctorate will be awarded to London School of Economics professor Mary Kaldor.
Prof. Kaldor, co-director of the LSE Global Governance program, will also be giving a lecture on "Human Security" - an advanced copy can be found below. Prof. Kaldor's lecture will also be followed by a number of presentations by PhD students from Corvinus University of Budapest on topics ranging from Alternative Scenarios to the Global Crises, to Redefinining Security: International, European, National and Human Security.
ISES Directors Ferenc Miszlivetz and Jody Jensen will also be participating in a round table discussion.
